How to Make the Most of Phoenix Women's Club Events This Month
From meetups to Content Day, here’s how to get the most value out of every event.
Attending events is a big investment of your time and energy, so you want to make it count. Every Phoenix Women’s Club event—whether it’s a coffee meetup, a workshop, or Content Day—is an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow.
Here’s how to make sure you’re actually getting the most from the community this month:
1. Know where to find event info
The easiest way to make the most of the community is to stay in the loop. Start with the Events Page—it’s the hub for every upcoming gathering with details and RSVP links.
You’ll also want to be in Geneva. Members use the app to share collaborations, coordinate pop-ups, and post last-minute opportunities before they’re anywhere else. If you’re not in there yet, now’s the time to introduce yourself and scroll through the latest threads.
And finally, keep an eye on Instagram. Beyond reminders and updates, we often share behind-the-scenes stories and member features there, which can help you feel more connected before you even walk in the door.
2. Show up prepared (but stay flexible)
A little bit of preparation goes a long way. At July’s coffee meetup, members who came ready to share what they were working on ended up swapping referrals and finding accountability partners on the spot.
If you’re heading to Content Day, plan your outfits and pack any props or products you want to feature. For member-led pop-ups, think through what you’ll need to participate fully, whether it’s your laptop, journal, or just a clear headspace.
But don’t overthink it. Pick one priority for the event—meeting a potential collaborator, creating content, reconnecting with the group—and let everything else flow from there.
3. Be intentional about connecting
Relationships are at the heart of this community, and they’re built over time. Instead of trying to meet everyone, aim for one or two meaningful conversations. At a recent workshop, a casual chat about marketing challenges turned into a collaboration between two members that’s still going strong months later.
Ask what others are working on, share your own wins and challenges, and look for ways to support each other. The follow-up is just as important: send a DM or email after the event to keep the connection alive.
4. Keep the momentum going
The energy you feel at an event doesn’t have to stop there. Hop into Geneva and share your takeaways or ask for feedback. If you’re in the Creative or Founder tiers, the member directory is a great place to reach out to someone whose work you connected with.
And if you loved a particular format or topic, tell us! Many of our most popular events—like the Monthly Marketing Roundtable—started as member suggestions.
Your next step
Check the August events calendar and RSVP for the gatherings that fit where you’re at right now. The more often you show up, the easier it is to build trust, connections, and momentum.
We’d love to see you this month!
