Community Over Coffee Series: Authenticity Over Algorithms

Authenticity Over Algorithms

Community Over Coffee Series
Hosted by Phoenix Women’s Club + MOMS4MOMS

About the Event

Being a woman entrepreneur comes with layers of responsibility. You’re building a business while also managing clients, supporting your community, keeping up with family and personal commitments, and trying to stay visible in a digital world that’s constantly shifting.

Social media can make that even heavier. The algorithm changes without warning. Some days your work reaches people, other days it doesn’t. The effort you put in doesn’t always match the results you see. That constant back-and-forth can leave you feeling drained, or even disconnected from the reasons you started your business in the first place.

This event is designed as a reset. A morning where women can gather before the day takes off, share their real experiences, and connect over conversations that matter. No pressure to perform, no focus on numbers — just time to be in the room with women who understand both the challenges and the wins of entrepreneurship.

It’s an opportunity to step away from the noise, refill your cup, and leave with a stronger sense of community around you.

What You’ll Get

  • Coffee that isn’t from your kitchen Claire’s Coffee Cart will be on-site brewing lattes, tea, and all the good stuff.

  • Light breakfast to keep the morning easy.

  • Introductions that don’t feel forced → everyone gets to share who they are, what they do, and even a fun throwback: what did you want to be when you grew up?

  • A mini-session on authenticity with Stephanie Anderson and Nik Rubio → no lectures, no panels, just an honest group conversation about what it looks like to stay true while showing up online.

  • Connection with other women → not surface-level networking, but the kind of conversations that could spark real collaborations and friendships.

Why It Matters

Social media is part of how we grow, but it shouldn’t dictate who we are. This event is for women who are ready to move past the pressure of “beating the algorithm” and lean into building businesses (and lives) that reflect who they really are.

Because likes fade. Relationships don’t.
